How to install Microsoft Core Fonts in Ubuntu 12.04

Enter the next command in a terminal and follow the instructions:

 sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer  

You should be able to use Arial, Times New Roman, and other fonts in programs like LibreOffice.
